Ben Nissen | Creative Video Director

I’m a Chicago-based filmmaker who wears a lot of hats—I’ve been a writer, director, producer, DP, editor, animator, and colorist on a wide variety of projects. For larger productions, I partner with some awesomely talented collaborators who I’m lucky enough to call friends.

Since 2021, I’ve been one of four Creative Partners at Odd Commodity, an agency that specializes in design, photography, and cinematic video production. Before that, I was a Creative Production Lead at Groupon where I manage a killer team of talented writers, producers, editors, and animators.

My feature film Nowhere Mind was released in 2018.
